Police are looking for information on a driver who allegedly threw kittens out of a moving vehicle on Thursday morning in Portland.
A witness told Portland police that several kittens were thrown from a gold minivan around 7 a.m. at North Peninsular Avenue and Willis Boulevard in Portland. Drivers picked up two of the kittens, the third was not located, the witness told police.
One of the found kittens suffered severe injuries and will have to be euthanized, according to a Portland police bulletin.
First Degree Animal Abuse is a felony in the State of Oregon.
The Oregon Humane Society Investigations Department would like to hear from anyone who picked up a kitten or who has information about the suspect in this case.
