SIAULIAI, Lithuania (AP) — Los Angeles Lakers center Pau Gasol scored 21 points Friday, powering unbeaten and defending champion Spain to an 86-69 victory over Britain at the European Championship.

Spain ran its record to 3-0 at the 24-team tournament, which will produce two qualifiers for next year’s London Olympics.

Gasol’s brother, Marc Gasol of the Memphis Grizzlies, added 18 points and 11 rebounds for Spain. Rudy Fernandez added 11 points for the Spaniards. Chicago Bulls forward Luol Deng led Britain with 17 points.

Serbia also won its third straight, using a big fourth quarter to rally past Israel 89-80. Serbia lost the final to Spain two years ago. Israel dropped to 0-3.

The top three teams from each of the four groups advance.
