Letter: Absence sometimes welcomed

Regarding the Aug. 31 editorial “Avoiding attention: Herrera Beutler shuns the same spotlight that helped her get elected to Congress,” I wanted to say that Rep. Jaime Herrera Beutler, R-Camas, was interviewed on “Think Out Loud” on Oregon Public Broadcasting earlier this week. Otherwise, I would have been able to ignore her completely.
