A 21-year-old woman was transported to the hospital with head, neck and chest injuries after her car rolled multiple times late Thursday on state Highway 14.

Esther E. Hong of Aloha, Ore. was driving a 2007 Mazda MZ3 eastbound on SR-14 near Lieser Road around 9 p.m. when she lost control of the vehicle and struck a barrier, according to a bulletin from the Washington State Patrol. The car then rolled multiple times and came to a rest on the passenger’s side in the left lane, officials said.

Hong was transported to PeaceHealth Southwest Medical Center where she was listed in serious condition on Friday morning, a nursing supervisor said.

Alcohol wasn’t believed to be involved.
