Letter: GOP protects the wealthy, again

The Columbian

Wow, it does my heart good to see those Republican lawmakers looking out for the middle class again. Who else, in all their wisdom, could demand that the “rich, job-creating, conservatives” should not have their taxes raised or the Bush-era tax cuts expire and then turn around and propose to end the temporary payroll tax for everyone who actually goes to work? I can’t wait for Rep. Jaime Herrera Beutler, R-Camas, to explain if she supports this proposal and then expect me to vote for her and her Grand Olde Protectors of the wealthy next year. Fat chance.
