Driver dies in 400-foot plunge near Grass Valley

GRASS VALLEY, Ore. (AP) -- Oregon State Police say the driver of a pickup truck was killed when it went over a guardrail and plunged more than 400 feet down a steep hillside off Highway 216 near Grass Valley.
KTVZ reports (http://bit.ly/p1VEVd ) the wreck was discovered early Monday and apparently happened overnight.
Sherman County deputies recovered the body of the driver, 53-year-old James Andrews Middleton of Grass Valley.
