OCEAN SHORES, Wash. (AP) — An Ocean Shores city council candidate discovered what happened to a couple of his campaign signs that were reported missing.
Police say the John Schroeder signs had been turned around and the backs used to advertise a weekend garage sale.
KBKW reports a 76-year-old man thought he could take the signs because the primary was over. He was cited for third-degree theft.
