UW student died in fall near Snoqualmie Pass

SEATTLE (AP) -- The University of Washington confirms a student was killed in a fall Monday near Snoqualmie Pass.
Spokesman Bob Roseth says he was a member of the crew team.
His name has not yet been released by the King County medical examiner's office.
The sheriff's office says he fell at least 100 feet on Kaleteen Peak.
KING reports he was with three other UW students who were exploring the area.
The News Tribune reports the 21-year-old was a Puyallup resident.
