LUXEMBOURG (AP) — The RadioShack cycling team is merging with the Leopard-Trek outfit led by Andy and Frank Schleck for the 2012 season.

The team will be known as RadioShack-Nissan-Trek Professional Cycling Team, with a race license held in Luxembourg and marketing operations run from Austin, Texas.

Team RadioShack says in a statement that the roster will include the Schleck brothers and Olympic time-trial champion Fabian Cancellara from the existing Leopard roster, and RadioShack’s Tour of California winner Chris Horner and Andreas Kloeden.

RadioShack says current manager Johan Bruyneel will direct the sporting operations in Belgium and Luxembourg.

The team will continue to represent Lance Armstrong’s Livestrong charitable foundation.
