ASHLAND, Ore. (AP) -- The Oregon Shakespeare Festival is seeking public support for guidelines to regulate buskers.
Festival Associate Producer Claudia Alick says it would help separate street performers from homeless people who are hanging out and asking for money.
The Medford Mail Tribune reports (http://bit.ly/o4JVEW) Alick presented a proposal for busker permits last week to the Ashland Citizens' Coalition. It will consider revisions at its Sept. 15 meeting.
