Train clips car in Wash., no serious injuries



BELLINGHAM, Wash. (AP) — A Bellingham, Wash., police spokesman says a northbound Amtrak train clipped a car near downtown Bellingham.

Lt. Rick Sucee says the front end of the car was damaged Tuesday but no one was taken to a hospital. The car driver was cited for failure to yield.

The train was halted for more than an hour.
