CENTRAL POINT, Ore. (AP) -- An autopsy has determined that a 32-year-old bartender from Central Point died of multiple stab wounds, while her former boyfriend was arraigned on a murder charge.
The Medford Mail Tribune (http://bit.ly/oVmeUJ) reports the medical examiner's office reported its findings, and 36-year-old Jeffrey Wayne Wheeler was arraigned Tuesday on the charge that could bring a sentence of 25 years to life.
Wheeler is accused of killing Jessica Bethany, whose body was found Sunday in her apartment. She worked at a bar in nearby Medford.
The paper reports that Wheeler and Bethany have a 1-year-old daughter and children from previous relationships.
