Meadow Homes — More than 400 volunteers from Living Hope Church descended on Fort Vancouver High School Aug. 20 to give the grounds a face-lift. In four hours, the volunteers spread 255 loads of donated bark dust, washed windows, painted, trimmed trees, pressure washed the entire facility and took out a garbage truck load of debris. The church recently moved into the old Kmart building on Andresen Road and wanted to show the students and families at the school that they matter to the community.
