Drivers on state Highway 142 can expect three weeks of 20-minute delays and local detours starting Monday while crews pave the highway through Goldendale, officials say.
The Washington State Department of Transportation warns motorists to expect one lane of 142 to be closed from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. on weekdays and 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. on weekends. Crews will pave through 11 intersections between South Washington Street and U.S. 97.
Parking and driveways in the area will be blocked for short periods, a WSDOT release said.
The $1.2 million preservation project is scheduled for completion this fall.
