Man drowns in Moses Lake irrigation canal

MOSES LAKE, Wash (AP) -- A Moses Lake man has died after falling into an irrigation canal.
The incident occurred early Thursday morning just southeast of the city of Moses Lake.
The Grant County Sheriff's Office says two men were walking along the canal road when one fell in. The victim was swept downstream by the current and drowned.
The man's identity has not been released.
