IRVING, Texas (AP) — Dallas Cowboys cornerback Mike Jenkins and rookie right tackle Tyron Smith are both listed as questionable for Sunday’s season opener at the New York Jets.

Pro Bowl receiver Miles Austin (hamstring) is listed as probable even though he had only limited participation in practice for the third consecutive day.

The Cowboys listed Terence Newman (groin), their other starting cornerback, and tight end Martellus Bennett (ankle) out of the opener.

Jenkins and Smith had limited participation at practice Friday, two days after the starters left the field with knee injuries. Jenkins was back on the field some Thursday.

Newman was hurt early in training camp while Jenkins missed the entire preseason with a neck injury.
