SAN ANTONIO (AP) — Jake Mullin threw a 32-yard touchdown pass to Delfonte Diamond with 19 seconds remaining to give McMurry a 24-21 win over UTSA on Saturday.

McMurry, a Division III school, took a 17-14 lead with 7:07 to go when Markell Rice recovered a blocked punt and ran 8 yards for the score. UTSA came back to lead with 3:02 left when David Glasco II ran 7 yards for a touchdown.

But Mullin, who completed 29 of 45 passes for 372 yards and one interception, found Diamond for the game-winner. Diamond finished with seven catches for 142 yards. Mullin also ran for a 1-yard score.

Eric Soza threw for 255 yards and two touchdowns for the Roadrunners, and ran for 51 yards. UTSA beat Northeastern State 31-3 last week in the football program’s first game.
