LINCOLN, Neb. (AP) — Another game against Washington on Saturday could set the tone for the rest of the season for 10th-ranked Nebraska.

The Cornhuskers have won their first two games this season but haven’t been overly impressive.

Nebraska and Washington split their games last year. According to STATS LLC, this week’s game will mark the sixth time since 1997 that two teams from different conferences will meet three times over two seasons.

Nebraska won 56-21 win in Seattle last September. The Huskers amassed 533 yards of total offense, and Taylor Martinez ran for 137 yards and three touchdowns.

The teams played a rematch in the Holiday Bowl. Martinez was sacked four times and ran for 23 yards in a 19-7 loss. The Huskers had 156 yards of offense.
