Santos Laguna beats Colorado 4-1

COMMERCE CITY, Colo. (AP) — Daniel Luduena scored in the 14th minute to send Santos Laguna to a 4-1 victory over the Colorado Rapids in a Group B match in the CONCACAF Champions League on Tuesday night.

Oribe Peralta, Carlos Darwin Quintero and Christian Suarez also scored for Santos Laguna (2-1-0). The club team from Mexico had a decided quickness advantage that set up numerous scoring chances.

Goalkeeper Oswaldo Sanchez was rarely tested by the defending MLS champions.

Brian Mullen scored for Colorado (1-1-1). The Rapids started Steward Ceus in goal, resting starting goalkeeper Matt Pickens.

Santos Laguna led 2-0 at the break.
