The Clark County Treasurer’s Office has mailed second-half 2011 property tax statements, which include property tax levy amounts and special assessments.

A total of 110,588 statements and postcards have been mailed, according to a news release from Treasurer Doug Lasher.

Taxpayers whose taxes and assessments are not paid through a mortgage company and have not received their statement within 10 days should go to http://www.clark.wa.gov/treasurer or call 360-397-2252.

Taxes are due Oct. 31.

If a taxpayer has moved within the past six months, the office needs to be notified.

Taxpayers are encouraged to use the return envelope to mail in their payment.

Payments may be mailed to Clark County Treasurer, P.O. Box 9808, Vancouver, WA 98666-8808.

Payments for second-half property taxes (delinquent payments need to be paid at the treasurer’s office or mailed to the office) may be made at any branch of First Independent Bank.

An original tax statement, not a duplicate, must accompany a payment made at First Independent.

Senior citizens who qualify for an exemption should call the Clark County Assessor’s Office at 360-397-2391 if they are not participating or if their income has substantially changed.

The Clark County Treasurer’s Office is on the second floor of the Public Service Center, 1300 Franklin St.
