AUSTIN, Texas (AP) — “McCoy to Shipley” is a comforting and familiar phrase for Texas fans.

Quarterback Case McCoy and receiver Jaxon Shipley are following the same path blazed by their older brothers and are leading a Texas resurgence.

Case McCoy, the younger brother of former Texas quarterback Colt McCoy, will get the start Saturday against UCLA (1-1) after helping lead Texas to a come-from-behind win over BYU last week.

Jaxon Shipley, whose older brother Jordan spent his record-setting career catching passes from Colt McCoy, is Case’s best friend. He has emerged as one of Texas’ best playmakers.

The 24th-ranked Longhorns (2-0) travel to Los Angeles on Saturday to face a Bruins team that started their downfall to a 5-7 finish last season.
