A serious-injury crash was reported about 9:45 p.m. Friday, east of Battle Ground, and a Life Flight air ambulance was called to land at Tukes Valley schools.

Fire District 3 and Clark County Fire & Rescue were at the scene of the two-vehicle crash in the area of Northeast 219th Street and 192nd Avenue.

Firefighters used heavy tools to extricate a woman from a vehicle and she was taken by ambulance to the landing zone.

Firefighters radioed that she was semiconscious and that the impact of the crash caused heavy intrusion into the vehicle she was in. It appeared that the injured woman’s car was hit in the side.

Two other people were taken to hospitals by AMR Northwest ambulance, said Chief Steve Wrightson with Fire District 3. Their injuries weren’t thought to be life-threatening.

Wrightson said the collision happened on residential roads where speeds fast enough to cause that much impact wouldn’t be expected.

More information should come later from the Clark County Sheriff’s Office.
