NATO service member killed in Afghanistan

KABUL, Afghanistan (AP) -- NATO forces say a bomb has killed a service member in southern Afghanistan.

The alliance said Monday that the service member died after the attack on Sunday. It did not provide further details.

The latest death raises the number of international troops killed in September to 25. A total of 430 members of the international military coalition have died so far this year.
