SEATTLE (AP) — The Coast Guard and Bainbridge Island Police are searching for a 27-year-old man who went missing while kayaking near Bainbridge Island on Friday.
A friend of the man reported the disappearance to the Bainbridge Island Police Department who contacted Coast Guard around 10:45 p.m.
The friend says he and the missing man were kayaking near Port Blakely when the man’s kayak began to take on water. The friend went for help but was unable to locate the man when he returned.
