Cardinals’ Washington, Redskins’ Landry sidelined

LANDOVER, Md. (AP) — Arizona Cardinals linebacker Daryl Washington has been ruled out for Sunday’s game against the Washington Redskins with a strained right calf.

Washington was injured in last week’s win over Carolina. He had an interception, a sack and seven tackles against the Panthers.

Stewart Bradley was pegged to start in Washington’s place.

Safety LaRon Landry was on the inactive list again for the Redskins. Landry is recovering from a pulled right hamstring and has yet to take part fully in a practice since the start of training camp.

Reed Doughty took Landry’s spot in the lineup for the second week in a row.

Redskins linebacker Brian Orapko was active for the game despite being limited in practice all week with a sprained ankle.
