ALOHA, Ore. (AP) — The Washington County sheriff’s office says a deputy’s patrol car was struck by a bicycle Monday night in Aloha.
The deputy was making a turn and the bicycle rider hit the front of the patrol car, throwing him over the hood into the windshield.
The bike rider, a 44-year-old Aloha man, was treated at a hospital for minor injuries. He was arrested after his release because of an arrest warrant from Clark County, Wash.
The deputy was not injured.
The sheriff’s office says alcohol may have been a factor in the crash.
