Brush Prairie man accused of killing father



VANCOUVER, Wash. (AP) -- A 42-year-old Brush Prairie man accused of killing his father appeared in Clark County Superior Court Tuesday and was ordered held without bail for investigation of murder.

Troy A. Fisher will be arraigned Friday in Vancouver.

Sheriff's detectives arrested him Monday while questioning him about the disappearance of 69-year-old Edward F. Fisher who hasn't been seen since early August. He was reported missing by other family members.

The Columbian reports ( ) Troy Fisher, who lived with his father, said he had reunited with an old girlfriend and traveled to Europe on a yacht.

Detectives say in court papers that Troy Fisher shot his father Aug. 7 during a fight and burned his body.
