Meeting to discuss alternative commercial fishing gear

ASTORIA — The Oregon and Washington departments of Fish and Wildlife will host a public meeting Wednesday to discuss and answer questions about their recent evaluations of new commercial fishing gear for the Columbia River.
The meeting will be held from 6 to 9 p.m. at the Loft at the Red Building in Astoria, 20 Basin St., Suite F.
