A Vancouver woman was treated and released from PeaceHealth Southwest Medical Center after a late-night crash on Interstate 5 Saturday, officials said.

Asifa Babury-Valdovinos, 30, was stopped by traffic around 11:45 p.m. Saturday on the ramp from northbound I-5 to state Highway 14 when another car, driven by Shawn Stamp, 40, of Vancouver failed to stop and slammed into the back of her vehicle, a state patrol release said.

Valdovinos was taken to the hospital with injuries to her neck, shoulder, arm and leg.

She was treated and released, PeaceHealth spokesman Ken Cole said on Monday.

The collision was caused by driver inattention and speed, the state patrol said.

Stamp was cited for speeding.
