PHOENIX (AP) -- The Arizona Diamondbacks say team president and chief executive Derrick Hall has prostate cancer.
The team said Tuesday a prostate biopsy performed Sept. 14 revealed tumors. A date for the surgery to remove the prostate has not been scheduled.
Hall says in a news release that he's fortunate the disease was caught in the early stages and expects a full recovery.
