Letter: Body searches by TSA are excessive

The Columbian
Published: September 19, 2011, 5:00pm

Reading the Sept. 12 letter, “Rough treatment by TSA inexcusable,” I can match Dan Coffman’s experience with TSA, but it was at the Portland airport. With two shoulder prosthetics, older but not disabled, I was groped all over, including the crotch. Being singled out is expected, but that last experience may well be my last flight.

I hope someone gets a picture of Coffman’s next checkpoint trip if he decides to try “wearing just a Speedo swimsuit.”
