KANSAS CITY, Mo. (AP) — Outfielder Lorenzo Cain, who hit .312 with 16 home runs and 81 RBIs, is among six players the Kansas City Royals are promoting from Triple-A Omaha.

The Royals announced after Tuesday night’s 10-2 win over Detroit that they are also calling up right-handed pitchers Vin Mazzaro and Sean O’Sullivan, outfielder Jarrod Dyson and catcher Manny Pina from the Storm Chasers, who won the Pacific Coast League championship. Dyson stole 38 bases and was caught only twice.

The Royals also announced they are purchasing the contract of right-hander Kelvin Herrera, who went 1-0 with a 2.12 ERA with six saves while striking out 18 in 17 innings with Omaha.
