BUFFALO, N.Y. (AP) — The Buffalo Sabres returned 10 prospects to their respective Canadian Junior Hockey teams, including defenseman Mark Pysyk, the team’s 2010 first-round draft pick.

Pysyk returns to Edmonton of the Western Hockey League.

Forward Steven Beyers was among the players returned after the undrafted rookie free agent was invited to attend training camp. The Sabres also returned Ryan Rondeau to Laredo of the Central Hockey League.

The moves were made Tuesday, four days into training camp, and leave Buffalo with 52 players (30 forwards, 17 defensemen and five goalies).
