Letter: Those who pilfer are the enemy

The Columbian

Twelve billion dollars for a vitrification treatment plant to clean up Hanford near Richland. This clean-up project has been going on for years, ever since the end of World War II. It’s never going to be finished because Hanford is the biggest and fattest “cash cow” in all of barnyard history. Why didn’t they build this vitrification plant years ago with much less money?

Let’s keep a close eye on these bureaucrats and Department of Energy members, and watch and count every dollar they ask for. I am convinced government is not the enemy; it’s those who pilfer from the government, and they are as numerous as the stars in the heavens.
