Sheridan man accused of illegal taxidermy

PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) -- A Sheridan man is accused of running an illegal taxidermy business in his home.
The Oregonian reports (http://bit.ly/qzDd9f) 25-year-old Ryan Thompson was cited by Oregon State Police and ordered to appear in Yamhill County and Tillamook County circuit courts.
Fish and Wildlife troopers raided his home in July of last year and seized eight bear skulls and other wildlife parts.
He's charged with not having a taxidermy license, unlawful possession of fur bearing mammals, baiting bear and unlawful possession of a cougar cape.
