TUSCALOOSA, Ala. (AP) — Arkansas and Alabama are high-powered teams with lofty ambitions and contrasting styles.

The Southeastern Conference contenders bring all those trappings into their league openers when they met Saturday at Saturday at Bryant-Denny Stadium.

No. 3 Alabama has won the past four meetings with the 14th-ranked Razorbacks. Both SEC West teams are 3-0 and the matchups within the game are intriguing.

The game pits the SEC’s top passing offense versus the league’s No. 1 defense and Arkansas’ dangerous receivers against Alabama’s star-studded secondary.

The Razorbacks haven’t allowed a rushing touchdown. Alabama’s Trent Richardson has run for eight scores.

Tide linebacker Dont’a Hightower sums it up for both teams and their fans, saying, “we’re all pretty excited that we’re finally here.”
