Letter: Unincorporated areas should have say

I don’t care how people vote on C-Tran’s proposed tax hike but I do care when they limit voting to the incorporated areas of Clark County, knowing that all the rural population (individuals and businesses) have to shop for groceries and supplies in the cities, which costs us more for services we don’t receive or get a vote on. They’ll do the same when it comes to light rail; they’ll downsize the area to just incorporated Vancouver and make the rest of the county pay that shops there — again without a countywide vote. I know it’s not realistic but residents should try to shop at stores and businesses not in the taxing area until we all get a vote on the taxes that affect us all. We live here, too.
