ATLANTA (AP) — The Atlanta Dream will be without center Erika de Souza for the rest of its WNBA playoff against Indiana to join her Brazilian national team.

The Brazilian team is playing in an Olympic qualifying tournament in Colombia. The single-elimination event runs through Oct. 1. De Souza will rejoin the Dream as soon as her home country plays its final game.

De Souza scored eight points and grabbed 13 rebounds in Game 1 of the best-of-three Eastern Conference series that was won by the Fever. The Dream must win Sunday at Atlanta to extend the series to a decisive contest and keep alive its hopes of a second straight trip to the WNBA finals.
