National gas prices down 12 cents in past 2 weeks

CAMARILLO, Calif. (AP) — The average price for a gallon of gasoline in the U.S. has dropped 12 cents over the past two weeks.

That’s according to the Lundberg Survey of fuel prices, released Sunday. It puts the average price of a gallon of regular at $3.54.

Midgrade costs an average of $3.70 a gallon, and premium was at $3.82.

Diesel prices fell 4 cents, to an average of $3.91 a gallon.

Of the cities surveyed, St. Louis had the nation’s lowest average price for gas at $3.08. San Francisco had the highest at $3.90.
