NEW YORK (AP) — All four rounds of the Presidents Cup in Australia will be televised live in the United States for the first time with the event outside North America.

More than 27 hours of coverage will air live on Golf Channel starting the night of Nov. 16, with much of it in prime time. There’s a 16-hour difference between Melbourne and the Eastern time zone.

NBC and Golf Channel also will broadcast 23 hours of replays of the competition between the U.S. and International teams.

The mixture of live and taped coverage is part of the new approach of the NBC Sports Group after the merger with Comcast. NBC plans to show every event live in some form for the first time at next year’s London Olympics.
