One woman suffered minor injuries after her bicycle was struck by a car Tuesday morning in Vancouver, officials said.

Firefighters rushed to the scene of the collision just after 11 a.m. Tuesday at the 6700 block of Northeast Fourth Plain Boulevard.

An adult female was transported to local hospital with very minor injuries to her legs, said Kevin Stromberg, firefighter-paramedic with the Vancouver Fire Department.

The woman's name and what hospital she was taken to are not available at this time.
