PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) — A federal judge sentenced a Warm Springs gang member to more than 15 years in prison for attempting to kill a U.S. Marshal.

Aldo Inez Antunez is already serving a 15-year sentence in state prison for attempted murder of Mardras police officers.

Prosecutors say the 33-year-old Antunez opened fire on the marshal with a high-powered rifle as they tried to arrest him at the Warm

Springs Indian Reservation in 2010.

Antunez will serve his federal sentence at the same time he serves his state time.
