Thurston Co. mother charged in 4-year-old's death

OLYMPIA, Wash. (AP) -- Thurston County prosecutors have charged a 20-year-old mother with second-degree murder in her child's death.
The Olympian reports (http://bit.ly/pJASWN) that Rachel Bryan's 4-year-old son was admitted to a hospital with head injuries. He died Saturday.
Bryan was arrested soon after her son was admitted to the hospital.
Charging papers on Tuesday say Bryan admitted to assaulting her son. Family members say Bryan has mental health issues.
