PHILADELPHIA (AP) — Eagles quarterback Michael Vick participated in a walkthrough on Wednesday morning, and is expected to fully practice with the team during the afternoon session.

Vick suffered a hand contusion in the Eagles’ 29-16 loss to the New York Giants on Sunday. But Philadelphia coach Andy Reid says the swelling is down.

Vick’s availability for Philadelphia’s home game vs. San Francisco (2-1) is not yet decided, yet Wednesday’s participation is a positive sign for him.

Though still early, Vick and the Eagles (1-2) find themselves in last place in the NFC East, as the Giants, Redskins and Cowboys are all 2-1.
