SAN DIEGO (AP) — The Chargers’ home game Sunday against Reggie Bush and the winless Miami Dolphins will be blacked out on local television because 6,500 general-admission tickets remained unsold at Thursday’s deadline.

This is the fourth game in two seasons to be blacked out for Southern California’s only NFL team.

The Chargers have been rumored as a possible tenant if a proposed stadium is built in downtown Los Angeles. A drive for a new stadium in San Diego has stalled, and the Chargers might ask the city for hundreds of millions of dollars to help build one.

Bush went to Helix High in suburban La Mesa. The Chargers are 2-1 and the Dolphins 0-3.
