ST. PAUL, Minn. (AP) — Anton Lander scored in the second round of the shootout and Devan Dubnyk made three shootout saves to give the Edmonton Oilers a 4-3 preseason victory over the Minnesota Wild on Friday night.
Lander also had a goal and an assist in regulation as the Oilers rallied from two goals down with less than 10 minutes to play. Ryan Jones and Linus Omark also scored for Edmonton (5-2). Dubnyk made 22 saves for Edmonton, which will complete its postseason Saturday night by hosting Vancouver.
Mikko Koivu, Pierre-Marc Bouchard and Devin Setoguchi scored for Minnesota (3-4), while Niklas Backstrom stopped 34 shots in the Wild’s preseason finale.
Omark and Jones scored 27 seconds apart late in the third period to tie the game and force overtime.
