TEMPE, Ariz. (AP) — Arizona State fell flat that last time it was coming off a big win and facing a supposedly overmatched opponent.

The Sun Devils are hoping to avoid a repeat performance on Saturday against winless Oregon State.

Full of confidence after ending an 11-game losing streak to Southern California last week, No. 25 Arizona State is guarding against a letdown against the Beavers. The Sun Devils would like to get this home win before playing tough road games against Utah and Oregon.

Oregon State lost to an FCS opponent to open the season and has scored just 47 points so far, but heads into the game with a three-game winning streak over the Sun Devils. The Beavers are hoping to avoid their first 0-4 start since 1996.
