GOODYEAR, Ariz. (AP) — Former All-Star Jose Lopez and veteran minor leaguers Aaron Cunningham and Jairo Asencio have claimed the final spots on the Cleveland Indians’ roster.

General manager Chris Antonetti announced the moves Sunday. He said Ryan Spilborghs and Jeremy Accardo were told they had not made the team and were reassigned to the minor league camp.

Lopez hit .313 with two homers and 10 RBIs this spring to earn a utility infield role. The 28-year-old had a big season with Seattle in 2009, batting .272 with 25 homers and 96 RBIs before his production fell off the next two years with the Mariners and then the Colorado Rockies.

Asencio was acquired from Atlanta on Thursday and pitched two scoreless innings Saturday night in his Indians debut.
