Coast Guard rescues man from Ore. bay

COOS BAY, Ore. (AP) — The Coast Guard has rescued a man whose 18-foot skiff capsized in Oregon’s Charleston Bay after hitting a wave.

The World newspaper of Coos Bay reports (http://is.gd/tfUAeQ) the man spent nearly 15 minutes in the water Monday. He had been crabbing.

The unidentified man was treated for hypothermia at a Coast Guard station. Petty Officer Walter Morey says he’s in good condition.
