BOLTON, England (AP) — American midfielder Stuart Holden has returned to Premier League club Bolton after spending three months in Delaware doing rehabilitation on his right knee.

Holden has only played once since sustaining a serious knee injury against Manchester United in a Premier League match in March last year.

The 26-year-old midfielder told Bolton’s website that he still doesn’t have a clear timeline for when he may play again, but that “I’m not really worried about that because my focus is all about making sure I’m fully fit once I do get back on the pitch.”

Holden says he was doing rehab work for six hours a day, five days a week with trainer James Hashimoto in Wilmington, Del., before returning to Bolton last weekend.
